Fall is for Comfort Food

As I was visiting my hometown in Jersey last week, I saw the leaves starting to turn sizzling red, radiant yellow, and fiery orange.  Ahhh, so beautiful and refreshing! First the leaves, then the cool, cooler, and cold weather to follow.  I then thought about my wonderful Florida and how it was going to be warm when I got back.  Well, it wasn’t!  The first day I had to run for my sweater and therefore my thoughts went to the comfort foods that have always warmed my heart and soul.  When Enjoi Sweets & Company opens its doors later this Fall, be prepared to taste a little bit of cozy comfort when you take a bite of your own personal sweet potato pie or mouth-watering apple pie.  Apple pie just like your grandma used to make with the cinnamon wafting through the air and the butter dripping out the sides, and of course the pure sweetness of fresh apples boosted by nature’s sweetener.   So look forward to the weather getting a little cooler because you can cozy up with your own personal pie from Enjoi Sweets!

Will It Go Round In Circles?

So it’s back to the drawing board, literally. Last week we submitted our plans to the city building department. And today we met with a general contractor who told us that we’re missing an electrical/lighting plan and a plumbing plan. So those things must be drafted by either the electrician and plumber or our engineer. I still feel like things are moving along but in which direction? Sometimes it seems like this [insert Muppet dancing here]:

Bread Pudding – YUM!

We know you love cupcakes and we’ll satisfy your sweet tooth in that department BUT I hope you like bread pudding …

When we open our doors our customers will be able to taste bread pudding like grandma used to make.  I mean in some cases like great grandma used to make because it’s that good old-fashioned, mouth-watering, scrumptious flavor.  The way bread pudding is supposed to be.

You’ll feel like Oliver Twist — MORE PLEASE!

Stay tuned!
