Dessert Truck Update: Hurry Up and Wait
The renovations for the truck are DONE! I am sooo ready to roll already. This truck is something that I’ve wanted for a looong time. It was our original business model 4 years ago! But alas. We’re here. It’s staring us in the face. Now what? lol.
Well first we need a generator to power our air conditioner, lights, and that’s pretty much it. We won’t be putting any other equipment in there right away. Maybe a small refrigerator. Our operation will be simple since all our prep will be done in the shop.
Next, we need our opening inspection from the Department of Agriculture to get our mobile permit. And then we can hit the road.
I’ve been hesitating to book any events just yet only because if we’re not ready with permit in hand I don’t want to leave any organizers with a bad taste in their mouth if we can’t come through. I’m sure they would understand but they’re trying to run a business too…

I’m so glad to have our truck back in our parking lot. It’s so cute. And those of you who know me know I don’t like the word cute lol. But it’s on it’s way to looking fly. A vehicle wrap will be sometime in the (near?) future…
